Madame, an artist based in France, defines herself as a craftsman of materials, using period materials to combine them with more contemporary words that resonate with our times.
These elements of old iconography - engravings, photos, drawings and materials - interact with the texts, opening up a whole new world of possibilities.
"I always try to create a kind of hiatus between the two so that everyone's imagination can take over and develop the possible meanings of the image," explains the artist, whose work can be seen in Paris galleries as well as on walls in France, Peru, India and Italy.
